Fulton Trotter Architects’ history can be traced back to 1946. Mark Trotter - NSW Reg No. 4421 Paul Trotter - NSW Reg No. 7177 Robert Wesener - NSW Reg No. 5802. With a history spanning more than 60 years, Fulton Trotter Architects has made a significant contribution to Australian architecture and the built environment. The practice has a tradition for working with regional and remote communities. While supported by the Fulton Trotter Architects network, each office is independently managed and operated, and committed to the communities and development of its region. Fulton Trotter Architects today comprises three dedicated, full service offices — Brisbane, Sydney and Tweed. In the 1960s, Stephen Trotter published Cities in the Sun—a seminal text in the acclimatisation of Queensland architecture. Charles Fulton was a pioneer in architectural education in Queensland, and QUT’s architecture faculty is named in his honour: the Charles Fulton School of Architecture.
