With her experience in Victoria and Western Australia active and managing important Physical Therapy clinics and employed in fields of education, stroke rehab, sporting institutes, and rehabilitation she had a vision to give to the local community an Allied Health center with focus on all areas of rehabilitation, pain management, wellness and sports performance. Studio 4 combines the knowledge and experience of its eighteen staff members to give a warm and hospitable environment to assist in matters of all health and well being. The studio’s practitioners are accredited with the appropriate professional associations, and covered by most health funds. We have HICAPS facilities, eftpos, and are providers of MSW and LLD labor cover, DA and give bulk billed service through the Enhanced Primary Care programs with a doctor’s referral. Our staff are committed to the local community, and give sponsorship and donations to local sporting groups and charity organizations. A majority of our staff are very passionate about helping where we can and unite in on a number of levels both with our services and physical strengths. Offering a range of diverse moralities where professional qualified staff labor together below the one roof. A speech pathologist has been trained to assess and treat people who have a communication disability. She has a strong focus on re training and educating patients about their musculoskeletal problems, and uses techniques such as Olsen therapy (structural alignment), manual therapy, pressure point and trigger point therapies with focus on functional work. She enjoys working with patients across all age ranges and clinical populations to optimism function, decrease pain and promptly return patients to their activities of daily living. Eloise’s interest areas include sporting related injuries, musculoskeletal injuries and labor place related rehabilitation. Darla is passionate about helping people attain their health, fitness, athletic, and rehabilitation goals. She utilizes many techniques including manual therapy, arid needling, easy tissue massage, facial release, and movement analysis to get the superior results for her clients. In addition to being a physiotherapist, Darla is a certified Pilates and yoga instructor. Focusing on pain relief and improved movement Emma uses moralities such as remedial therapies, function and movement assessment, myofasical arid needling and cupping, kinesiology and ridge taping, mobilizations corrective exercise for dysfunctional movement. Rachel has many years of dance teaching experience and has worked as a professional dancer in performing arts. When Rachel developed a hamstring injury through dance she realized the benefits of Pilates for injury rehabilitation and returned to Pilates. Nikki completed her remedial massage diploma in 2005 and over the years, due to her love of natural therapies and healing, and through her relationship with her clients, she felt that other moralities were necessary to accomplish their goals. She now practices both kinesiology and remedial massage as two separate moralities but will often use the muscle testing skills of kinesiology to determine muscle strength and function in her remedial treatments. Remedial massage treatments usually consist of deep tissue, positional release, structural assessments and corrections and cupping. Her approach to yoga practice is encouraging the superior mobility conceivable by building strength and evening out imbalances in the body.
